About the Artist:
Furuya Kōrin (1875–1910) was a Japanese designer who created striking decorative patterns for the art journals Bijutsukai and Shin-Bijutsukai. These patterns, originally printed on smaller pages, are now carefully restored and adapted to modern poster sizes while maintaining their original charm.
