About the Artist:
Furuya Kōrin (1875–1910) was a Japanese designer who created striking decorative patterns for the art journals Bijutsukai and Shin-Bijutsukai. His work, inspired by the Rinpa school, features flowing lines, bold colors, and refined natural motifs. These patterns, originally printed on smaller pages, are now carefully restored and adapted to modern poster sizes while maintaining their original charm.
